Jess brings a wealth of experience and expertise to PilatEASE. With a degree from Dance City and a Postgraduate degree from Durham University, her career spans teaching, business, and wellbeing; from leading partnerships in arts education to supporting the growth and development of businesses across the wellness and creative sectors.

Jess has ran her own dance and wellness business, worked in freelance and contractual roles, and collaborated with organisations and individuals to strengthen their vision, strategy, and delivery. Jess’ work has taken her from classrooms and studios to charity projects and corporate settings, always with the same goal; empowering others through movement, wellbeing, and opportunity.

After training with Pilatease and connecting deeply with its ethos and values, Jess joined the team to help drive our continued growth as a CIC.

After a back injury left her with lasting pain, Nicci discovered the transformative power of Pilates. What began as a path to recovery soon became a lifelong passion for Pilates for Therapy and Wellness. Qualifying as a Reformer Pilates Trainer completely changed her approach to movement, inspiring her to help others build strength, confidence, and ease in their bodies.

As the Founder of PilatEASE CIC, Nicci leads with vision, compassion, and purpose. She oversees the studio’s strategy, merchandise, and Training Academy, ensuring everything reflects her belief that Pilates is for every body.

Her teaching is energetic, supportive, and inclusive ideal for anyone wanting to reconnect with their body. Nicci continues to train in therapeutic and clinical Pilates, always evolving her practice to help others feel better, move better, and get fitter in a welcoming, empowering space.

Heather has worked in the fitness industry for over a decade, including an influential role with Active Newcastle, where she was responsible for improving the health and wellbeing of the entire city.

Her journey with PilatEASE began as a customer, where she quickly discovered how transformative Pilates could be. Recognising her passion and potential, Nicci invited Heather to join her on this exciting adventure, and the rest is history!

Today, Heather co-leads the PilatEASE Training School alongside Nicci, developing and delivering training programmes for national organisations and companies. She brings a nurturing, supportive approach to educating the next generation of Pilates instructors, inspiring others to teach with knowledge, confidence, and care.

With a background in fitness, wellness, yoga, and Pilates, Emma brings a wealth of knowledge and balance to her role as Consett Studio Manager. She keeps everything running smoothly with warmth, calm, and a touch of fun.

Passionate about helping others feel their best, Emma creates a welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.

Claire is the calm, capable heart of the Ryton studio. Her passion for wellness and holistic health shines through in everything she does, whether she’s managing the studio or teaching her own uplifting classes.

She’s known for her kindness, care, and the sense of calm she brings to the team and clients alike.

One of our original Pilatease instructors, Christine brings years of experience and a wealth of knowledge to every session. As both an instructor and studio owner, she combines precision, insight, and a calm confidence that challenges clients to move with intention and strength.

Helen is warm, welcoming, and wonderfully supportive. Her classes are grounded in kindness and encouragement, helping clients of all levels build confidence, strength, and better body awareness in a relaxed, friendly environment.

An early riser who brings energy and enthusiasm to every class, Summer is a much-loved tutor and instructor. Her deep understanding of Pilates technique and clear, motivating teaching style help clients and students alike feel confident and capable.

She’s passionate about movement, learning, and sharing her joy for Pilates.

Sandy’s classes are strong, focused, and designed for those who love a challenge.

She’s known for her tough but supportive approach, motivating clients to dig deep and find their strength while keeping sessions engaging and rewarding.

​Another of our original Pilatease instructors, Jane is a pillar of experience and wisdom. Known for her deep knowledge, direct teaching style, and sense of humour, she keeps classes both educational and fun.

Lotti’s classes are gentle in tone but strong in substance. With her sensitive, encouraging approach, she creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere, yet you’ll always leave knowing you’ve worked!

Beccy’s friendly energy and experience make her a firm favourite. She combines supportive teaching with clear, confident guidance, helping clients of all levels move well, feel great, and always leave smiling.

Sandra’s classes are challenging and deeply rewarding. With years of experience and a sharp eye for technique, she pushes clients to their best while ensuring every movement is safe, strong, and purposeful.

Su brings years of experience and a calm, steady presence. Her classes are mindful, controlled, and perfectly paced, helping clients find strength and focus through intelligent movement.

One of our newer team members, and a graduate of our training school, Fran brings vibrant energy and creativity to her Pilates classes.

She loves a “spicy” challenge and her sessions are dynamic, engaging, and designed to make you feel strong and accomplished.

Another training school graduate, Shannon brings her passion and experience from running her own Pilates business. Her classes are energising and fun, offering just the right balance of challenge and motivation.

After starting as a client, Danielle has joined the PilatEASE training school, before graduating to our teaching team.
